Trial Balance

The Trial Balance option displays the beginning balance, posted debits and credits, and ending balance for each account and cost center. It includes a column for adjustments which can be used as a worksheet when closing an accounting period.

The trial balance assists management in reviewing a period's activity before it is closed. The accounts are listed by account number and account type (assets, liabilities, income, and expense).

Account	The account or account mask for the trial balance.
Cost Centers	The cost center or cost center mask for the trial balance.
Period	The accounting period to be viewed on the trial balance.
Year	The year to be viewed on the trial balance.
